Blendi Pro+ uses a powerful motor with sharp stainless steel blades. The tritan of blades is enough to crush ice and blend fibrous fruits. Other portable blenders struggle with consistency, leaving chunks behind. In testing, the Blendi Pro+ produced smooth results with frozen berries, OJ, and ice. The strong motor is a bit loud but operates at a reasonable noise level. It is louder than a handheld mixer but quieter than a full-size countertop blender.
Battery life is a key factor for any rechargeable appliance. The Blendi Pro+ has a powerful battery that can handle about 15 blends per charge. Recharging the Blendi Pro+ is done via USB-C, and the cable is included in the package. Charging takes about five hours, which means overnight charging is wise if you want to use it first thing in the morning. The front LED indicator gives a clear status update when the battery is full.
Some real-life uses for the Blendi Pro+ would be at the gym, where it can mix a protein shake without the clumps that come from using a shaker bottle. Or, on a road trip, it can blend fruit and yogurt into a quick breakfast without needing access to a kitchen. While in the office, it lets users make fresh drinks without running to a café. It’s also useful for parents who want to prepare baby food on the go, blending soft fruits and vegetables into a smooth puree.
It is designed with a 17-ounce travel container, which is durable and BPA-free, featuring a lid with a flip-up drinking spout, allowing it to double as a travel cup. Unlike some portable blenders that require transferring the mixture into another container, this setup minimizes extra cleanup.

While it is not a replacement for a full-sized kitchen blender, the Blendi Pro+ impressed me enough to be included in my “to-go” bag whenever I take a road trip.
